Information collected by our extension
To function, Music Downloader - VKsaver requires a basic set of information. Each day, it updates its tracker list and determines the number of trackers on the websites you visit. The essential data Music Downloader - VKsaver needs includes:
Music Downloader - VKsaver might make additional requests to the (vksaveapp.com) website as necessary. These requests adhere to the (vksaveapp.com) privacy policy.
- Date and time of each request
- Your computer's IP address
- A unique ID (randomly generated hash) to recognize you
- The hostname to query our API and find out the number of trackers on the visited site
We use the ID, date, time, and number of requests to understand user behavior, block crawlers and scrapers, and gather general statistics. IP addresses are collected for geolocation purposes, limited to city-level or higher (city, country, continent). Hostnames visited help us estimate website traffic, ads, and trackers, allowing us to determine the reach of each tracker or ad. This data helps us maintain and expand our database of known ads and trackers
In addition to the 'bare minimum' information, we also collect:
- Full URLs of pages where ads and trackers are loaded
- Services identified by Music Downloader - VKsaver
- Hostnames and domain names of identified trackers and ads
- Cookies (names and values) set by each website, tracker, or ad
- Frames and their target information loaded by each website
- Element types set by each hostname (images, scripts, fonts, etc.)
To clarify, the information collected is related to ads and trackers, not personal details. We will only collect this tracker information if you choose to share it with us.
Please note that we do not collect any personal information such as email, name, or phone number.
Personal Information
The Extension does not collect any personal information about you (such as your name, email address, etc.). Further, it does not collect or report back to us (or anyone else) any data regarding your computer keystrokes or other data unrelated to the services the Extension provides.
We don't call Google APIs to obtain personal information. Moreover, when installing a VKsaver Chrome Extension on a personal Google account we are provided with no information regarding who has completed the installation.
This privacy policy contains no section on sharing of personal information because we have none to share.
